The Spapperi Semi-Automated Herb Harvester MI100 is a compact machine suitable for 40/50hp tractors. The rear platform and frame is attached to the tractor via a 3-point linkage and the harvesting unit is attached to the front of the frame and offset from the tractor. There is an adjustable harvest head with a 600mm edged blade with interchangeable knives and supporting sideways spares. The harvester has 2 positions: the first one is when it is positioned beside the tractor during harvest; the other is for transport when it is positioned behind the platform taking up a minimal amount of space.

There is an operator panel that controls the speed of the belts on the platform. The inclination of the belt is controlled by a manual side regulator screw. The alignment of the belt and cutting head during the harvest is also manually operated (a hydraulic system is available as an optional extra). The platform is fitted with protective sides (265mm × 1100mm) that allow to safety store the crop in bags or crates whilst harvesting.

The Ominia Cutting Head is equipped with two lateral helical cones for lifting and conveying the plants, without tearing, on the two corrugated belt that narrows the harvest before the 600mm wide bi-blade cutter bar with interchangeable knives, complete with side support wheels. Adjustable cutting height from 100 to 700 mm. Minimum distance between rows is 800mm. Manufactured in Italy.
